Summer Camp - Cornel, Wales
July 27th to Aug 3rd 2013
Wet Wet Wet. I am not referring to the 90's band but a lot of the weather during our summer camp in Snowdonia this year. The weather may have been very wet but the enthusiasm of the Scouts was great to see as they ignored the wet weather and took part in the many outdoor activities organised over the week long camp.
18 of the 26 Scouts attended the camp which was held at Cornel Scout Camp at the top of Lake Crafnant, near Trefriw in Wales.
Over the week long camp, the Scouts took part in abseiling, canoeing, high ropes, branding, orienteering, backwoods skillsm camp cooking, pioneering, tobogganing and snow-tubing.
